ELIGIBILITY: Open only to residents of the 48 contiguous United States and Washington D.C. (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) who are 21 years of age or older. Employees of Home Box Office, Inc. ("Sponsor"), Virgin America Inc., Godiva Chocolatier, Inc., Kiehl's, and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, the "Promotion Entities") and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
2. THREE WAYS TO ENTER:
1. VIA TEXT MESSAGING: Beginning 12:00:01 AM (ET) on 9/4/08, text HBO to 38714 to enter the sweepstakes via text messaging using a two-way text message-capable wireless device. Text messaging entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM (ET) on 10/1/08. Limit one text message entry per wireless account per day. If more than one entry is received from the same wireless account per day, only the first such entry received will be eligible. Sponsor cannot guarantee this program will be available via all carriers. The text messaging portion of the promotion will be available on participating wireless carriers only and requires a two-way text message-capable wireless device. Wireless device carrier's instructions for text messaging may vary. Standard or other text messaging rates apply. Your wireless service provider may charge you for each text message you send and receive; check with your provider/carrier for details on your plan.
2. VIA THE INTERNET: Beginning 12:00:01 AM (ET) on 9/4/08, visit www.EntourageAirLiveIt.com and follow the on-screen instructions to enter the sweepstakes. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM (ET) on 10/1/08. Limit one entry per email address per day. If more than one entry is received from the same email address in a given day, only the first such entry received will be eligible.
3. VIA MAIL: On a plain piece of 3" x 5" paper, hand print your complete name, address (no PO Boxes), city, state, zip code, date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy), plus (optional) daytime and evening telephone numbers. Mail your entry in a hand addressed business-size (#10) envelope with first-class postage affixed, to: Entourage Air Live It! Sweepstakes Entries, P.O. Box 5716, Blair, NE 68009-5716, to be received by 10/8/08. You may enter more than once by mail but there is a limit of one entry per outer mailing envelope. No mechanically reproduced entries permitted. Promotion Entities not responsible for lost, late, postage due, illegible, mutilated, misdirected entries or entries not received in time for the random drawing. All entries become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
RANDOM DRAWING: Winners will be selected in a random drawing to be conducted on or about 10/10/08, from among all eligible entries received by Sponsor's designee, D.L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. Winners will be notified by email and/or text message and/or mail and/or telephone using the contact information provided at the time of entry. If potential winner entered via Rule #2A, he/she will likely be contacted by telephone and/or text message and a total of 3 attempts will be made to contact the potential winner within 48 hours from the time winner selection was accomplished. If the potential winner is unable to be reached within this time frame, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate will be selected. No telephone messages will be left. If potential winner entered via Rule #2B or Rule #2C, he/she will likely be contacted by email and/or mail. When attempting to contact a potential winner via email, the required response must received within 7 days. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.
PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: (1) Grand Prize is available - A 3-day/2-night trip for winner and 3 guests to Las Vegas, Nevada. Prize includes round-trip First Class air transportation on Virgin America from New York or San Francisco to Las Vegas, weekend accommodations at Palms Casino Resort Sky Villa - Fantasy Tower, dinner for four at N9NE Steakhouse (maximum dinner value $450), access to VIP sections at Palms nightclubs with drink service (maximum value $1,250), access to Palms Spa and four 50-minute Palms Custom Massages, VIP transportation in Palms limo (subject to availability), and $5,000 spending money for winner. If winner resides outside a 250-mile radius of New York or San Francisco departure airports, winner and 3 guests will receive additional round-trip coach air transportation from major airport nearest winner's home to New York or San Francisco to board the Virgin America flight to Las Vegas; specific itineraries to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If Grand Prize winner resides within 250 miles of Las Vegas, Sponsor may substitute a $150 travel stipend in lieu of air transportation (ARV: $30,680; actual retail value will vary depending on the winner's proximity to Las Vegas, New York and/or San Francisco); (25) First Prizes are available - a collection of Kiehl's and Godiva products, selected by Sponsor (ARV: $80 per prize). Prizes consist of only the items specifically listed as part of the prize. Grand Prize winner may choose to receive standard weekend accommodations (2 rooms, double occupancy) at Palms Casino Resort in lieu of Sky Villa - Fantasy Tower accommodations; if winner chooses standard weekend accommodations the total Grand Prize ARV will be reduced to $12,258.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: All income taxes are the sole responsibility of prize winners. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. No substitution or transfer of prize by winners permitted. Potential Grand Prize winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability within 7 days of attempted notification. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification and an alternate will be selected. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate may be selected. All guests of Grand Prize winner must be 21 years of age or older as of date of travel. All travelers must execute a Release of Liability prior to ticketing and must possess required travel documents (e.g., valid photo I.D.) prior to departure. All travelers must agree to travel on dates specified by Sponsor and must travel together; travel destination and dates of departure and return are subject to change. Any Sponsor approved changes to confirmed travel itinerary, made at winner's request, may result in rebooking fees which will be the sole responsibility of winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Promotion Entities to use winner's name, voice and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
GENERAL RULES: Promotion Entities not responsible or liable for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, and assume no responsibility for (i) any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in operation or transmission at any website, or wireless calling/text message carrier service, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections (ii) failure of any entry to be received due to technical problems, telephone service problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or wireless calling/text message carrier service (iii) communications line, hardware and/or software failures, malfunction of phones (including wireless phones/handsets), phone lines, other communications malfunctions, unavailable network connections, cellular equipment towers, telephone systems or wireless service (iv) damage to any computer (software or hardware) resulting from participation in the sweepstakes, or damage to mobile phone or other PDA device (v) theft or destruction of, tampering with, unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries and/or entry information, or (vi) entries which are late, lost, stolen, damaged, illegible, and/or unintelligible (or any combination thereof). In the event of a dispute regarding any e-mail/text message entry, the entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address/ SMS-enabled wireless device phone number submitted at the time of entry (i.e., the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address/SMS-enabled wireless device phone number by an Internet access provider, online service provider, wireless phone carrier network or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address or for assigning phone numbers for the SMS-enabled wireless device). Potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address/wireless phone number associated with the winning entry. All online entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account, which may be identified by reverse domain name search. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Promotion Entities assume no responsibility for undeliverable emails/text messages resulting from active or passive filtration of a user's internet service provider or wireless phone carrier network, or for insufficient space in user's email account to receive email. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the text message and/or online entry portion of the sweepstakes if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the program; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration or security of the sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor/judging agency/administrator, in their sole discretion. In the event of termination of the text message and/or online entry portion, a notice will be posted online and the drawing will be conducted from among all eligible text message/online entries received prior to termination and all mailed entries received. In the event a dispute arises regarding specific individuals entitled to receive prize, entry made by text message will be declared made by the person to whom the wireless device/phone is registered. Participant may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the participant is the authorized account holder of the wireless device phone number associated with the account/submission. Proof of submitting entries will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like methods of participation will void all such submissions by such methods. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules. By participating in this sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. By accepting prize, winners agree to hold Sponsor harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize. Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused by participation in this sweepstakes or use or redemption of any prize. Sponsor not responsible for typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
